Overclocking Problem

I started overclocking my gpu, and everything is fine, i run some bench marks to compare to before i overclocked, and they were much worse than before. Please help me i do NOT want $350 to go to waste. I have an EVGA gtx 970, and i was using MSI Afterburner.

Do you think you could post some pictures?  Is it a reference or non-reference card?

it is non-reference, and it is also the super super clocked version if that means anything.

So the SSC + ACX 2.0, odd, Did you try reinstalling the drivers? That might fix it...

A few more details would be nice like before and after benchmarks and your overclocking settings.

i used msi kombustor for the benchmarks and stress tests.

Before the overclock, Furmark had 2274 points and 37 fps. Physx 3 fluids had 4956 points and 82fps. Lakes of titan had 38836points and 647 fps.

i finalized the overclock at a boost of +123 for core clock and +124 for the memory clock.

After the overclock, Furmark had 2585 points and 43 fps. Physx 3 fluids had 2277 points and 37fps. lakes of titan had 18982 points, and 316 fps.

 

And no, i didnt try to reinstall the drivers.
