iPad Mini Charging Issue !

My iPad Mini(1st Gen) has a small issue

It is running at iOS 8.4.1 and was never jailbroken

When I plug any Lightning Charger official or 3rd party it shows "not charging" even though it charges 

Also after 18 months of use  after purchase it started charging at an awfully slow rate (about 4-5 hours to be full)

And the it lasts me about 1 and a half hour

Should I be concerned

I don't intend to replace it till 2017

bought it on February 2013 (32GB LTE)

Probably the battery wearing out, take it into store and they can replace the battery for you (at cost)
