Help with photoshop,

Not sure if this is the right thread for this,

 

For the past week or so I've been practicing with photoshop and editting some pictures or adding things to them.

 

I'm trying to work on a gif and I figured out how to add the gif layer to a still image and scale/move it to where I want it to go.

 

One thing I can't figure out is how do i make the still image which is the background visible in all layers of the animation? I'm completely new to photoshop and was hoping someone could tell me how this is done.

To make it visible you just have to click the little eye in the layers thingy for each frame.
