Ok so i dont exactly know how to word the problem to google so ill ask here!

I have jsut finished setting up my gigabit network, and attached one of my new Nas servers. Now when i go to the network folder in windows explorer I am resented with my nas server. when I open I I only see the default 2 folders, and not the locked user folder that needs signing into. It shows up on my mac, and once click I am prompted to sign in using my credentials. However I have no way to view the folder to click on it in windows.

Am I doing something wrong? its setup to support both windows and mac/Linux setups. I just want my use protected folder!!

edit**

Nas is a netgear readynas duo.

also this may help, on my mac i get 2 drives shown. one labeled (AFP) and the other (CIFS)

on my mac it shows up like this

Screen%20Shot%202015-08-19%20at%2019.42.

and clicking on either the afp or cifs shows this

Screen%20Shot%202015-08-19%20at%2019.42.

however the adamw906 folder does not show up on windows (and no its not a hidden folder)
