Hey everyone so this is my first post!

I've been watching linus and his other channels for a while now and I missed out on the free vessel subscription so im paying £2.99 a month just to watch good ol'linus and the gang also super pumped on there new office space was interesting and fun to watch the moving process and vlogs and I get so excited over all these crazy expensive parts for the PC being shown in his recent videos and such but I know I won't ever be able to afford it which is a shame.

the only PC i've ever had was a prebuilt one brought of ebay a few years ago.

I have certain parts of the PC already picked out and ready to order off the interwebz but i'm very unclear on Budget CPU's and motherboards that match and work together aswell as GPU's and the PCI express ports.

You can probably tell by now that I'm a noob to all of this and I really need your help. i'm trying to keep to under £450 as a budget. here is what I have so far ready to order :

8 GB's hyper x ram

1tb WD blue

evga 500w power supply

Corsair CC-9011075 Gaming case
Still need a motherboard :*(

The real question is shall I go amd route and save money and if so should I have a fx 6300 or higher? or should i go intel i3 route?

Next question is i have read a lot about spending more on the gpu than the cpu so i was looking at cards that range from about £125 onwards so is there any suggestions to any gpu's that i could get that will last me about a year or so? aswell as i can't find a gpu that will fit into some cheap motherboards?

I've sort of dived head first into it all and just gotten myself into a bit of a pickle loool!

BTW will only be playing BF and COD and League of legends and a few other games like cs go.

anyway any help and suggestions will go a long way just need some help :c

A todays i3 outperforms even the 8350 in some cases. It is newer (about 4 years), it has stronger cores (single core performance)

SuperFlower is the maker of most psu's out there (like evga and others), and we can safely say that they may not be papular (but they are upcoming), still they are a huge opponent for seasonic

Keep in mind that they make the b2,g2 series for evga (check out leadex gold series of superflower)

Just to update you on how its going so far, i've gone the intel i3 route with a motherboard that supports 4th gen intel cpus so there is room to upgrade when i have more money to spend on it.

also i've gone for the r9 270x gpu over the 960 that was suggested, it felt a bit over kill for the games I would of been playing and the total build has come to a total of £470 including a corsair gaming mouse.

So i just want to thank everyone for there help and effort on this!
