Need help upgrading my computer for gaming

I have a 2years+ old acer predator G3-605 pc. this my 1st time building/upgrade my computer,i am planning to reuse some of the parts. I am changing my motherboard cause its a acer motherboard.

I am not very sure what part should i buy and upgrade and reuse some of the parts help me thanks.

Intel Core i7 4770

16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 666MHz

1535MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660

1863GB Seagate ST2000DM001-1CH164 (SATA)

then again it's an OEM system and might need a decenter PSU to go with it

First, follow your thread, Second what are you looking to do with it? and Price/budget?

Keep everything else but get a better GPU then if u can afford it still get an SSD

Nevermind, not the ram, just the gpu. What's your budget? And what's your color scheme?

it is dual channel so 666*2, RAM is good, no need to upgrade.

New GPU and probably PSU is way to go.

You might want to get new case as well, prebuilt PCs usually have terrible ones.

Motherboard doesn't affect performance, if it has all features you need there is no need to upgrade.

for what i know i got an better graphic card and i have an g3 605 i upgraded my graphic card with an gtx 960 and now i can pretty much play all games at ultra with an intel core i5 4460 cpu depends on what you want to use your pc for. i recommand to get something newer if you are in to gaming my graphic card nearly had enough space so you know. i didn't think when i bought the graphic card But it all turned out well. ram is good for photoshop and that kind of stuff and servers too, i recommand 8-16 gb ram.
