I plan on building a computer with 8 gigs of DDR3 1600 Mhz with a Z97 board, a R7 270X and an I3-4170. Can anyone tell me how well the processor and video card work together? And if i should downgrade the video card or upgrade the processor? Thank you

you should proburly upgrade both eventually but they will be fine i have a freind with the gpu you have and he can play gta just fine so Have fun :)

i would reccomend an APU

I..I wouldn't do that...

An i3 and 270x will work fine together, but unless you'll be getting an unlocked CPU later, you're saying wasting money on the Z97 board
