What resolution is your monitor, there isn't a GPU that could run that game at max possible resolution yet xD

Budget?

ill recommend you a GTX 960 / 970  depending on your budget, paired with an i5 4690K (or non "K" if you dont want to overclock)

you can play GTA V at mostly very high settings,60+ fps , and use MFAA            (1080p)

and you are not going to play ARK at 60 fps, because you know... early access...

you want a gtx 970 minimum if you want to drive games at a higher refresh.

a 390 or 390x would also be a good option.

or for balls to the wall get a 980ti

Would msi geforce GTX 980 gaming 4GB be an option?

MSI is good but I would suggest the GIGABYTE G1 Gaming.

Why not a 980 Ti since you can afford it?

For that display, a 980 or 390X should be plenty, I hate the term bottleneck but that's a pretty old CPU, so maybe you could get a 980 for 500, and use the rest of the money on a 4690k and a z97 motherboard? I think it would be a good investment, and you will run all your games maxed out at 1080p
