Hello guys!

SO i have a i5 4690K @4.0 ghz, with a COOLER MASTER EVO HYPER 212, its summer time in portugal and the temperature over the day is very warm, same as my room, and well the temps are:

rooom temp is arround 20ºC

idle: 45 - 50ºC max

under load: 60-66ºC max (GTA V)

the gtx 970:

idle: 33ºC

load: 63ºC (GTA V)

Are this temps ok and should i keep my CPU OC or just run it at normal 3.5 ghz ?

Thanks!

Temperatures are fine. Lower is better usually, but those temps shouldn't cause any alarm.

Temps under gaming are great. Temps at idle seem a bit higher then normal but I don't think there will be much you can do about it. Also they are overall very safe temps so there isn't anything to worry about.

What voltage are you running?

I have a 4670k 4.2ghz at 1.17v and even at idle with higher ambient like 30c I barely see idle temps that high. At 20c I'd be expecting around 35c as a normal temp.

EDIT: I also use the same cooler
