I really like the music, and now i finaly understand the whole album kilroy was here after watching the 10 min video that goes along with it.

He is not they are only fan. They have a HUGE fanbase among those the right age

What you are probably not aware of, is that STYX music was considered "Art Rock" and they had a very large following and success rate, but they lost their original fan base starting with the album Cornerstone, then Paradise Theatre, and things continued to get worse, i.e. Kilroy Was Here.

Of course it will also be noted that while they lost their original fan base of hard rockers and artsy rock following, they then picked up new audience with their bubble gum, girly type music.  If you do a little research on them, the guitar players were not happy with Dennis DeYoung's (the keyboardist) new writing material starting with Cornerstone.

Pieces of Eight was their last superb album.  I took my girlfriend and saw them live, front row and center for that tour.
