hi everyone,

I was just wondering if it is possible to plug custom sleeved power supply cables into  semi modular power supply cables to extend them (and make them look pretty sick). These are the ones I am interested in buying: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=30137&cPath=1357

Yes of course that is possible.

Those litterally just extend your already existing cables at the end, which you then plug in your hardware.

Not sure about cable quality for 39 bucks with connectors! Check quality to prevent exiting fires!

Something to consider when using those cable extender types is that you're going to have a greater length of cables to manage behind your motherboard tray. A case with a good amount of room to work in (and preferably quite a wide gap between the back of the motherboard tray and the side panel) would be handy. What case do you already have/are you intending buying?

I am thinking of upgrading to the NZXT Noctis 450 (pretty neat case in my mind). And if you were wondering the PSU I'm going to be using is the Fractal Design Integra M 550 watt.

The Noctis 450 looks like a nice option. I can tell you from experience that trying to cable manage and get the side panel on when there's not a lot of space to work with can be very frustrating! :)

I hope your build goes well.
