Hey there guys, I'm new here on the forum and I was wondering if you can help me build my first pc :D I currently live in Romania so I don't think it would matter if I told you the budget I have, the thing is that I stretched my budget as much as possible right now and I was just wondering if you guys  can check out the components I currently have in mind and review them, also if you think I should go for some cheaper components since some might not be needed at that performance. Also, I wanna build the PC in november after Black Friday since I wanna catch a very good discount on these components so if you guys think I might get a good deal on these, please let me know, I'm looking especially at the gpu since it's the most expensive one. So the components that I currently have in mind are the following:

Mobo: MSI 970-G43
PSU: Corsair CX600 Bronze
CPU:AMD FX-6300
RAM:Corsair DDR3 Blue Vengeance CL9 2x4gb
GPU:Sapphire Radeon R9 380 4gb[Nitro]

Case:NZXT Phantom 530(I chose this case because I will definitely upgrade my PC and I think this is a future proof investment since I won't need to buy a new case for a very very long time)

So that's pretty much it, the hdd is not put in there since I already have one and it isn't necessary. It's a mid range PC for the gaming I need, and yes, I am an AMD fan and I'm gonna stick to it :D. Thanks in advance!

Nothing sticks out at me for being messed up. Assuming they are the same price I would recommend the msi 380 over the nitro but its a marginal difference at best.

I know some people say the cx psu's have issues, but I don't know enough about them to recommend another one.

1. no CX PSU, please get like an EVGA 600B with is much higher quality

2. get an i3 + h97 mobo instead of a 6300. it will allow you to upgrade to an i5/i7 in the future

okay, so number 1, you'll probably bottle-neck the card, cause that CPU is horrible for it

number 2, don't get a CX PSU, those will burn your system

I think you're around the 600$ mark budget, here's a little build for you that you'll thank me for in the future

overclock the G3258 to 4.4Ghz and you'll be set to go

Motherboard: MSI Z97 PC MATE ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($87.88 @ OutletPC)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  ($49.89 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon R9 380 4GB SOC Video Card  ($228.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Case: NZXT Source 530 ATX Full Tower Case  ($89.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $619.72

Pls change mobo, to practicly anything but those gxx series, maybe msi gaming 970 or sli kraight edition. Gigabyte 970 ds3p, gpu maybe look into 380 or 280x, but that is my opinion, you can go to 970/390 but it gets tiny bit bottleneck and anything above is gona be unable.

Change CPU or i think you will start to bottleneck the GPU in CPU intensive games.

No, or not by much

No, or not by much

Don't get a Pentium. Just don't

Why? he's going to be gaming, and its on a Z97 board, he can easily get an i7 4790k in the future if he wants, he shouldn't make the mistake of getting an AMD proccessor if he's going to be strictly gaming, Pentiums are more than good in gaming performance, they only fall off in CPU intensive games. if he gets an AMD based system he'll be screwed

I wouldn't get a Pentium. They are a waste of money.

I would personally get an APU,

The ONLY reason you should get a Pentium is if you want to upgrade the CPU shortly after you buy the computer.

APU's are a winner for low budget computers, and Pentiums are a waste of money.

A Pentium with a good GPU will beat any APU out there, so your point is invalid.

I just typed in a10 VS Pentium

svpmark.png

There is a lot more of these graphs.

You are WRONG!!!

Yes Intel makes good medium and high budget CPU's BUT AMD is good for the low or low to mid budget computers.

Not any Pentium is good ofc, I'm talking about the G3258 with a good GPU

The budget is a lot different from here to US, all those components I have there get me to a total of $830, and I hope that I will be able to get them on black friday at around $650. The reason I went with the Sapphire gpu is because, from my point of view, they make the best gpus from the amd blueprint. I know the mobo and cpu are a bit low-end but, and I also know that AMD isn't the best when it comes to the cpu/mobo part, but what I've seen/heard/read so far is that the 6300 does it's just pretty well, and it has the best bang for the buck atm, games these days perform a lot better on a 4+ core cpu and getting an i3 has come to my mind, and it helps a lot due to hyperthreading but it's still not enough to deal with cpu intensive games, also this build will stay with me for around 10 months after which I plan on either getting an intel cpu or an amd fx-9 series. In terms of PSU, I will consider the EVGA 600B since it's at the exact same price range and I know EVGA do quality stuff too.
