Help Overclocking My 660Ti

Should I overclock my 660ti? if so what's the best way so see if its stable, I have the asus Direct CU2 660Ti so its got decent cooling , max temps stock are 68 degrees

It's nothing to worry about, but those stocks seem a little high to me.  Your case has proper airflow?

Might want to think about reapplying the TIM to your card.

yea i have decent cooling , my cpu is idle at 28 degrees with max temp of 70 degrees , and thats overclocked and watercooled , i have 6 hard drives all cooled properly with a front intake , i have a top intake too and my water cooler as my exhaust also my psu is an intake

Temps are certainly acceptable. Airflow seems acceptable - what do your fans run at on your video card when you're doing something a little demanding?

40-60 percent :D i thorght 68 degrees max i have ever seen , is decent for a nvidia card , the card idles around 35 degrees

You'll certainly be able to overclock a bit, but for some reason, my temps are way better than yours. When my GPU is stressed out(I have two 660 Ti's) when folding proteins, the card stops at around 55 degrees C with 40% fan speeds. It's also overclocked past 1.2GHz, and voltage has been increased.

hmm maybe if i put some artic silver 5 on my gpu it might shead some heat?

ill do it after ive finished backing up files , then ill get back and tell you the temps :D

Okay.

I cleaned the gpu which was a pain because the old thermal compound had gone hard -.- , i then applied some arctic silver 5 , and booted up, there's about a 2 degree difference :( i was expecting more tbh

the arctic silver 5 does take up to 216 hours to cure , for best results ,
