- Not sure if Tunnelbear is good (but if you use it, be sure to use offer code Linus or something11!!!1)

- Yes. know someone who has it set up that way, but it's probably not the same type of VPN you want, as the RPi will have the same public IP as your PC so there would be no use

- No clue how to set that up though

A vpn really isn't needed if you live in american unless your torrenting stuff.

There are many applications for a VPN.

Is it for work og pleasure?

Why do you think you need it?

What do you want to achieve?

Essentially you are just moving your internet traffic to another outgoing node on the internet so it can hide that the traffic is coming from you in a sense - but it does not matter much if the VPN you connect to cannot be trusted.

I have used vyprvpn for netflix and I was happy about that - worked both on tablets, phones, pcs and macs and it is using openvpns algorithms, so the tunnel is really secure.

  • 3 weeks later...

Tunnelbear doesnot support rasberry pi and also provide limited features if we compare with other Industry's giants. IPVanish VPN support rasberry pi along with Privateinternetaccess. They both are one of the leading vpn providers providing unlimited bandwidth along with servers in over 60 countries.
