Hi guys,

 

I just ordered a Linksys LAPAC1200 from Amazon but I am wondering if I should cancel the order after reading the mixed reviews about it. Should I get another one?

It just needs to be PoE, dual band, white and without antennas sticking out. I am in Europe and the Linksys I ordered was around 200 euros, I could go up to 250 euros if needed.

ubnt ap pro is the only one under <250e i'm aware of, ruckus, cisco etc. are way more expensive

it's dual-band, white, poe, no antennas sticking out, and just as good if not better.

I have the AC1200 but it seems that it has some connection problems (no stable connections). I would return it. Do you live in The Netherlands?

Unfortunately, can't find it sold by Amazon (it is there but through another marchant, I need it through Amazon for company Invoice purposes)

I know it has antennas and is not PoE but that's the best I could find...

I could solve the PoE thing with an injector + splitter but it says it will downgrade my link to 10/100 instead of gigabit...

 

 

 

EDIT: Canceled that one as well and found a Unifi Pro for pretty cheap on another website! I can't wait to get my hands on it

You will be happy with your UAP-Pro :)

 

Just be aware that there is an issue with some of them where when you enable wide channel, it will sound like there is an angry bee trapped inside it during heavy load, but its a known issue, so you can just RMA it and get a new one from Ubiquiti, they are very cool about it :)
