I have a Strix, it doesn't OC very much but it's quiet as hell, and never gets too hot. I had an EVGA GTX 660 but it constantly had problems so I've kind of written off EVGA from personal experience.

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

Very slight performance differences that you wont notice in normal gaming. So go with one you like the look of best :) I perfect the nice titan reference cooler myself.

which has better performance

the g1 is the best 970 on the market, and nobody can argue with that, zotacs not very popular, and it doesnt matter about the stock speeds, the g1 will overclock better.
