Well as the title pretty much sums it up, I can't disable Vsync. I have tried disabling Vsync in the nvidia control panel, in each game I have played, and I even used Nvidia inspector to disable vsync, but it hasn't seemed to work at all.

While I don't have a problem with 60 fps, it's very frustrating while trying to run some benchmarks. Every single game I have is limited to 60 fps ever since I upgraded to a Dell U3011 Monitor (2560x1600) and was not a problem before on my old 1080p monitor. If anybody could help me out it would REALLY be appreciated!

Also sorry if I posted this in the wrong section, wasn't really sure where to post it to.

I have so old card that I can't even find V-Sync adjust from Nvidia Control Panel. But in general, that only controls desktop. Default settings is that games override its settings when possible. Games and software. So if you are getting only 60fps when running 3DMark or Unigine tests, you need to go for clean install on drivers.

Some games do have a 60FPS limit imposed on them regardless of V-sync being enabled or not.

The NVIDIA control panel should control any 3D app that uses V-Sync.

But I should see setting for it on Nvidia control panel? If I'd had card that matters.

Edited my post. It does use V-Sync.

I've uninstalled the drivers with Display driver uninstaller, and it didn't fix anything. I also set vsync to be disabled in the nvidia control panel but it doesn't help.

What games are you playing?

Edited my post. It does use V-Sync.

And so, when default setting is "Let 3D software change settings", OPs problem would be fixed by clean driver install when running benchmarking software.

This is what you should see in the "Manage 3D Settings" section at the bottom. OP said they already clean installed.

Found that. By default its still at "Let 3D software change settings". I have done whole windows install within month and haven't changed any settings from there.
