OK, first off, don't buy a V300. They changed the NAND or something and now they're pretty shit.

The PSU is pretty overkill unless you want to SLI, so I'm gonna keep it in, but you only really need around 550W if you don't want to SLI.

what will you be doing with the system?

other than what has been mentioned, i dont see much wrong with it, aside maybe changing the seagate to a 2TB one, they're better value for money.

Is Skylake cheap there? Get that instead if so. Also change the SSD to something better

Edit: Get a 6600K instead of the i7 and change the SSD

PC is Intel Core i5 6400, GIgabyte H170 Gaming 3, Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x4GB 2400Mhz ,Sandisk Ultra Plus 128GB, WD Blue 1TB, NZXT S340, ASUS Geforce GTX 960. Fractal Design Tesla R2 650W. http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/793XNG. Graphics card choices don't always have to be dictated on performance. If you want the game stream and power consumption of the GTX 970 get that. If you want raw performance of the R9 390 get that. In the end we are all gamers, so what if your buddy gets an extra 5 fps?

look into skylake, 10% less cpu bottleneck on badly made games. (that was the worst sales pitch ever, wasnt it?)

For 3000€ you could do a bit better,

Is gsync / 144hz important for you ?

Also don't use PCPartpicker for buying when in the eu,

Use sites like mindfactory.de / caseking.de or other

Also I see you are planning triple monitors,

would you maybe preffer to get a ultrawide ( like the one linus reviewed, but the Gsync model ?)

When are you going to buy ?

Recommend what is best, not what you preffer.

Then the 850W PSU is great :) Take my SSD advice, and you're good.

Add a monitor ( I would go for the ACER 144hz 1440p gsync, and not asus, either that or get the acer ultrawide )
Add peripherals ( ~150€ for both keyboard and mouse, 100€ on a mouse is ridiculous, let alone 180€ for the keyboard )
You can get windows for free, or on reddit legitimately, 130€ is overspending on the OS
If a DVD drive makes you happy, it's only 20€
You could get a smaller case if space is an issue
Add a hard drive of your choice, something like ~1-2tb

I could also make the build cheaper with Z97

Recommend what is best, not what you preffer.

@Redjo @Mihemine

Gigabyte G1 cards are in no way loud. All you have to do is set up a quiet/manual fan curve.

I know lol

It just depends what your definition of loud is
