So here is the deal, bought a radeon r9 390x to upgrade my 7970 and 16 gb of corsair vengeance (4x4) to replace my amd performance 2x4gb kit. I started having trouble with blue screens, driver issues, and shut downs. After a lot of hate i decided to install a fresh copy of windows, which solved almost every problem.

Now the only problem i have is my computer turning off when playing a game, like about 5 minutes in. I am running memtest to test the new ram, did one pass with NONE errors.

Could it be the vga no having enough power? I did havw the 7970 oberclocked and my processor too, althought i took off the overclock to see if tht help. My power supply is a sentey 750w extreme rock power

It's that PSU. Sentey makes garbage PSUs, I recommend picking up something from EVGA or Seasonic.

How sure are u about this? i also think this but i dont want to... a good psu were i live is very expensive, and the sentey handled the 7970 and cpu overclocked. How much wattage does the r9 needs compared to de 7970?

I doubt that PSU is going to handle the 390X, it's really dogy in terms of quality. Ask @STRMfrmXMN for a PSU recommendation.
