Hi everyone, 

 

I'm still rather new to the Linus Tech Tips forums however noticed that computer and network security seems to be neglected from many of the critical topics....

Would it be possible to start a new stick thread for security content? 

 

Covering network and host: 

Host Intrusion Prevention (HIPS)

Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)

Application Control 

Change Control

Data Loss Prevention (DLP)

Firewall 

Virus Scan 

Endpoint Encryption 

 

What security products do you use? and from what Vendor?
