Overclocking Question

Is it safe to overclock a 1080p monitor from 60hz to 144hz?

Depends on the monitor and such. I've never personally overclocked any of my monitors, but 60Hz to 144Hz is a huge jump. I wouldn't do it myself.

If you can get the display to overclock that much, then it's so NOT a 60hz panel. you can ussually only get a 10-15hz jump in refresh on a decent panel.

 

Basically, if you can oc a 60hz up to 144hz then that panel is either, a 144hz panel, or completely unstable and the refresh simply is not obtainable.

Yeah I just wanted to know if that was even possible, Ive heard 60hz to 75hz was a big difference.
