PC freezing in games , help

hello all

 when i am playing games like the witcher 3 wild hunt , Battlefield 3, portal (origianl). it freezes the screen and makes loud screeching in my head phones.  this happens about 45 minutes after gamming, such as this morning when playing battlefield. or when i was playing witcher 3 and it would freeze on the cut sceens or in mid game.

this doesnt happen when i play boderlands i can play that for hours and the game doesnt freeze.

my temps are always low i play mostly at night and temps in my room are  20c (60F) , yes my computer is space heater

cpu =AMD FX-9590

cpu cooler= H100i gtx corsair

gpu = 2 r9 295x2

power supply = evga 1600g2

motherbaord = SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0

ram = 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 802MHz (11-11-11-28)

 

bios= i disable all power saving cpu items

i also disabled the amd sound ability on the gpu

 

i have an idea it might be the on boards sound card.....

any ideas ?  is it Hardware or a Software issue?

 

bios = up to date

gpu driver = up to date

nope , it also has a H100i gtx corsair cpu cooler. forgot to mention

 

max temp i have seen it reach is 50c , i was preforming a amd stability test.

Do you get any errors from for instance your NVIDIA Driver? Or do you just need to restart your PC without getting anything? It has probably need to do with your GPU not being powerful enough. The soundcard is very unlikely but try do disable it in the BIOS see if that works. You have to buy an internal or external sound though if you do that.

He has 2 R9 295X2 so no nVidia control panel.

 

Why two R9 295X2? Why FX 9590? Both overheat and there's gonna be a LOT of bottleneck with the 9590 and bad crossfire support for 2 R9 295X2s.

Well, on the spec website it says that your crossfire is disabled. Check to see if it's enabled

i don't think there is a lack of power , i could disable one card and see if it runs.... with out crashing
