So I have starting folding again... kinda

anyone notice anything odd, such as the lack of GPU activity? http://i.imgur.com/BTvLTjB.png

I have a 360mm and 240mm radiator on this thing, but I need a bracket for the waterblock before I can WC the CPU. All watercooling is going towards the GPU for now, which isnt really doing anything. The CPU is on a 212 evo for now with two very tired out fans and some new arctic silver. Also, anyone know why the RAM shows up as 800mhz? I have it set to 1600mhz in the BIOS.

Probably a bad WU, i don't see why a Hawaii card would have problems with F@H.

GPU Task is still downloading...

 

Memory shows up like that in some programs, have a look in task manager for the actual clockrate.

Probably a bad WU, i don't see why a Hawaii card would have problems with F@H.

Just installed folding@home today and windows 10 yesterday

GPU Task is still downloading...

 

Memory shows up like that in some programs, have a look in task manager for the actual clockrate.

Why is it taking so long? I have rebooted several times as well.

Servers could be running slow, click on the log tab near the top of the window so you can see the download progress.

Also try clicking start again for just the GPU by right clicking where it says ready then click Fold.

Well i have Win 10 and i do run F@H and it's fine for me.

Try deleting the GPU slot first, save, and exit. Then restart the program and add a GPU slot to see if that solves the problem.

Tried it, no luck.

Servers could be running slow, click on the log tab near the top of the window so you can see the download progress.

It's most likely the server that's having problems......

Okay, I will wait. My PC will be folding overnight. Currently pulling about 300 watts. I think this is rather amazing that people are so dedicated to folding that we managed to overload the server that feeds us tasks.

I think I will know when/if the GPU kicks in tonight...

Well my PC is in the same room as i sleep.....but i don't run F@H during the night in summer....only in Winter.

Have you overclocked your GPU? If so that can cause issues with folding.

Also, I wouldnt worry about the RAM. It sometimes shows up as half the actual, depending on if it is reported as Double Data Rate or not

i had it overclocked but the only thing oc'ed right now is the cpu as this is a fresh OS

Still no luck, GPU is doing nothing.

 

 

Yeah F@H's assignment servers are screwed, particularly for AMD GPU Work Units...
