Stick away from AMD like the plague unless thats for an extremely limited budget workstation.

CPU: Intel i7 - 5820k @ 4.5GHz, Cooler: Corsair H80i, Motherboard: MSI X99S Gaming 7, RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB DDR4 2666MHz CL16,

GPU: ASUS GTX 980 Strix, Case: Corsair 900D, PSU: Corsair AX860i 860W, Keyboard: Logitech G19, Mouse: Corsair M95, Storage: Intel 730 Series 480GB SSD, WD 1.5TB Black

AMD isn't good for gaming you should go Intel also you can't just have pre loaded OS on a HDD you have to deactivate the product key and clean install on the new PC

                                                                                                                 Setup

CPU: i3 4160|Motherboard: MSI Z97 PC MATE|RAM: Kingston HyperX Blue 8GB(2x4GB)|GPU: Sapphire Nitro R9 380 4GB|PSU: Seasonic M12II EVO 620W Modular|Storage: 1TB WD Blue|Case: NZXT S340 Black|PCIe devices: TP-Link WDN4800| Montior: ASUS VE247H| Others: PS3/PS4

I think that a 600W PSU is overkill for this build. Get a PSU with lower wattage PSU so you get better power efficiency and save a couple bucks in the process. I recommend the Corsair  CS450M, since it's semi modular, it has a 80+ gold power efficiency rating and it is 15$ cheaper. Remember that PSUs are more efficient when that are at around 50% load, and since your build has a wattage of 123W, 450W is more than enough.

This is what I suggest: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qpxbgs

ZamoRIG 2.0:

Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 1700 @ 3.9GHz

Cooling: DeepCool Captain 240 RGB + 2x Corsair ML120 fans

Graphics Card: Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming x2

Motherboard: Asrock X370 Gaming K4

RAM: 2x8GB DDR4 G Skill Ripjaws V Grey @ 2800MHz

SSDs: 2xPatriot Ignite M.2 240GB

HDD: WD Black 1TB + WD Green 2TB

 PSU: Corsair RM750

Case: Corsair Carbide 400C

ZamoRIG “Portable”:

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 @ 4GHz

Cooling: Corsair H80i

Graphics Card: Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming

Motherboard: Gigabyte AB350N Gaming WiFi

RAM: 1x16GB DDR4 Corsair Vengance  @ 2400MHz

SSD: Patriot Ignite M.2 240GB

HDD: 2TB 2.5” Seagate HDD

PSU: Corsair TX650M

Case: Siverstone SG13

Motherboard: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P | GPU: EVGA GTX 960 SSC | SSD: 250GB Samsung 850 EVO

I would basically never recommend doing that since his GPU will probably not have enough power to get all the heat the storage and the CPU also contributes its part with about 90 watts.

He'd rather be happy with any cooling he can get.

emm i dont understand the part about the gpu. gpu not having enough power to what?? anyway its ok for a non-oc pc. i have done a pc for someone with i5 3470 passive cooled and a stock blower gtx 670.no fans inside.i also used the psu as exhaust fan.runs great and very silent

it looks very cheap.i dont recommend it. i can just imagine how thin the metal is. n200 is solid with elegant design

I would NOT upgrade from an i7 2600 to an 6300 if that even is considered and upgrade!
