I'm not sure the 2TB Samsung 850 Pro is the best option here. Unless you plan on filling it up really quickly (e.g. you already have > 1TB of games or other content you'll be transferring over to it) you might be better off getting the 1TB 850 Pro model and using the difference to buy a really fast M.2 drive, like the Samsung SM951. That way you could have a very fast boot drive for some applications/games and use the slower 1TB 850 Pro for any other games or content which you still want fast access to.

This rig would be beastly, allowing you to upgrade to 32GB and 3 or 4 way SLI in the next 10 years.

Open your eyes and break your chains. Console peasantry is just a state of mind.

MSI 980Ti + Acer XB270HU

850+ should work fine.

Damn though one uber large ssd. While I understand the desire to go full solid, I would generally recommend 500 (sm951+ evos/pros is amazing combo)

Nvidia is pretty steady at making video cards for 250 watts as a standard.  So just the 2 cards is 500 watts.  Still need to add in cpu to that which parts picker says 210 Watts but that's without overclocking.  The evga 850 is a nice suggestion with room for overclocking and a buffer after that as to not max out the psu.

pc part picker said this: The motherboard M.2 slot #0 shares bandwidth with SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports. When the M.2 slot is populated, two SATA 6Gb/s ports are disabled

Indeed, but you have like 15 SATA ports so it doesn't matter one bit.
