Will all this work together? Any suggestions? Will I have to buy anything else??? The only thing I know im missing are fans and the I/O front panel

So suggestions on where to put fans? I will probably be using the Corsair Air Series AF120 High Performance Edition (2-Pack) 62.7 CFM 120mm Fans unless you have a better suggestion???

Any suggestion on I/O panels? I'd like a epic LCD touchscreen one that could do fans also.. or you know something to match the epicness of the case :)

Any other suggestions are welcome :) thanks for looking! I'll be doing a build log once I get my case.

one question

why are you using(in both systems) two ssd;s of different brands and capacities?

Is that a bad thing? is there anything negative that would come out of that? Mostly because I never bought more then 1SSD at the same time. One of the computers is my GF's and the other is mine. so we are combining cases :P. All the actual hardware I already own ( besides the case labs stuff which i just ordered) And have owned for awhile.

well instead of having one 120gb ssd and another 500gb, it's better in terms of reliability to have only one 750gb ssd

the same thing applies to the other system

I'd sack off the 144hz monitors if you plan on gaming, wasted cost. I'd just get something cheaper at 60hz.

Triple monitor on either of them cards on AA titles, with decent high settings won't yield you higher than 60-70fps. An that's at standard 1080p(1920/1080). So 144hz is pretty pointless. Some games on ultra/high, I doubt you'd hit 60fps.

Especially with the 970.

why 144hz monitors? Are you planning to upgrade in the future?

I hope you aren't planning to use the system with the 970 for gaming. Although a 970 can run triple monitors, if you plan to game, you'll get low fps. Which is why I'm asking why the 144hz monitors...

Already had them for awhile :P. Only 1 monitor gaming for the 970.

why dont you just put it in a separate case?

Cuz thats not as epic/fun :D

Yeah but I already owned both and didnt have the money upfront to by a 750gb  or 1tb one.

Yeah, you should be set then.

Your gfs build with the 4790k and the ti should give some decent performance.

As for the SSDs, I don't understand how it's better for reliability to have one. If you have 2 SSDs with data on each one and 1 fails, you still have half your data and a SSD to fall back on. If you have 1 SSD and it fails, all your datas gone and you have nothing to fall back on. As far as I'm aware there isn't added stress to your system or the drives by adding more in. Neither does it increase failure rate of said drives.

I agree with you that its better to have a bunch of small ones then a big one. Although if buying at the time.. you save money buying a bigger one. :)
