Second Hand CPU

Guest

So just recieved my core i5 4460 from ebay.

However I have no way of testing it until this weekend or next weekend as im waiting on a motherboard. If I mark recieved can I still make an ebay claim as long as I do not leave feedback?

Just stressing a bit as im away all week and don't want to loose my money if it's faulty.

since when can you even make a claim on ebay? well you should mark it recieved anyways since it clearly isnt fair to the shipping service to deny their completion of the order.

but honestly since when is there warranty or the like on ebay?

The eBay policy is that you get what was advertised, so if you paid for a fully working i5 4460 that's what you should receive. Else you can make a claim and you are either refunded or the seller covers the cost of a replacement item.

@Pearsonia Yes you should be able to, it just won't let you make a claim for "I have not received the item" (which shouldn't be applicable anyway as you have it). What I'd do is contact the seller and say you will leave feedback in a weeks time as you are waiting on a motherboard, it can be a bit annoying when people don't leave feedback :P
