Hello All,

First time PC builder and forum poster here....

I have compiled what I want (can afford) for my first PC build. I am concerned about compatibility issues between parts, along with some other issues like do I have enough power supply wattage, and if my parts list (below) comes with all the cables and connectors that I will need to complete everything. Please kindly take a look below if you have some minutes, and tell me any errors  and problems you may see. Thank-you for your help and time!

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler

What they said^

Plus, for your processor you won't necessarily need a bigger cooler since you can't overclock it anyways. So going with a boxed CPU and using the stock cooler will save a litte money that you can put into your graphics card. The boxed cooler comes with thermal compound preaplied. Oh and btw. if you had wanted to use another cooler: Arctic Silver 5 is outdated, use MX-4 instead.

who cares...

I'll second these guys, get a PSU from a reputable vendor, I love EVGA PSU's personally. The PSU is essentially a stability modifier for your whole system, if the PSU gives massively variant voltage, your system will suffer across the board.

I would also focus more of your budget on getting a better GPU, and pulling from the Mobo.

I made as many changes according to advice posted as much as I can. I will momentarily update the original post to reflect these changes. I can only keep "base total" price around 890-910$.

Edit: See top post for most recent build changes

--Sleepy time for now...i will get up tomorrow and apply any new advice ...thanks again all of you!

Man if you can't afford the extra cash for the 270X. If you want a bit more powerful GPU you should see if you can get a second hand 660 they are way better then a 750Ti for around the same money.

The rest of your list looks pretty good now

Hey there NickThePleb,

The plan seems OK and the guys gave you some good advice. I would consider adding a SSD to the system as it would make it much more snappier, responsive, decrease all boot and loading times and increase the transfer speeds. WD Blue is a great drive for everyday usage and can even handle some more demanding tasks, but a SSD would truly make a difference. :)

WD Blue SSHD and WD Black are also good options, but they might be a bit over the OP's budget.
WD Blue SSHD is a good drive and SSHDs generally are a good option if you have a single-drive setup with just a few most-often used applications. WD Black is a great performance drive that is reliable and good for more demanding applications.
If OP decided to stay HDD-only I would recommend either of these three. If they decide to go with a SSD, for up to 1TB WD Blue would be the more sensible choice, unless some extra performance is needed from the secondary storage drive. :)
