RM is a overpriced PSU and isn't great quality, it's made by cheaper components just because it's a big name brand doesn't mean it's a good PSU, Corsair isn't really known for consistency with their PSUs only their really high end stuff is really reliable and worth the price tag. EVGA,Seasonic,XFX are much better

It's only about a 7% improvement over Haswell but Z170 is better for "futureproofing".
