.NET Framework 4 not installing

Click Start
Type: cmd 
Right click on cmd in start menu and select 'Run as Administrator'
Type: net stop wuauserv 
Hit Enter
Type: ren c:\windows\SoftwareDistribution softwaredistribution.old 
Hit Enter
Type: net start wuauserv 
Hit Enter
Type: exit 
Hit Enter

 

then try and install

 

This worked, Thank you very much!

Not a lot to go off of... Maybe give us something more to work with. For all I know you might be out of hard drive space

.NET Framework 4 isn't installing

I have the log but it's pretty big so I'll post it if you want it.

 

For an adequate answer you will need to provide more info.

You might be able to solve it with that, and a quick tip you can most of the time Google the error code, in you case it is 0xC8000222 it is at the end of the log in your case.

You could try running the windows update troubleshooter, there is also some cmd commands you can try if you want
