What were your problems with windows 10. My problem was my network driver was only made for windows 7/8 and when i updated i could not connect to internet through WiFi or Ethernet. But I loaded the newer version or killer networking onto a USB and I fixed the problem.

I didn't have any troubles with it in regards to drivers, but I went back to 8.1 due to all the shady privacy stuff going on with it.

Yeah, there were some fixes for that. Although, it was still pretty messed up that i had to disable services, edit the registry, etc... just so they couldn't spy on me. My biggest issue thus far is the annoying messages i get about turning the security service back on... like holy shit 5 times a day.

Initially had sluggishness problems (those fixed after a defrag)

Had problems where software couldn't detect my onboard graphics, rendering several programs useless (fixed itself)

Visual studio broke (fixed by reinstalling)

Blue screens (when trying to install a webcam which only supports JPG streams - every proper webcam supports YUYV)

Searching through the start menu (typing) - cannot find utorrent and GPU-Z. Everything else is working fine. Mind you, I upgraded, so my windows stays genuine and then I made a clean install (found out it is working fine and windows stays genuine).

Audio is messed up. Speakers work fin but as soon as I plug in headphones they take over. But the thing is that my headphones are replace my speakers playback device leaving no way to change it's settings.. So If I plug in both speakers and headphones my speakers are not just superseded but gone by my headphones. it's kind of annoying, I just leave the headphones unplugged unless I need them now.

mhm that's fixable. if you go in the realtek hd audio manager and check / uncheck these things it should be fine.

also I found some neat autohotkey script to switch between playback devices
