My Ram usage is always creeping up when i'm using the computer. It starts off at around 2-3gb then throughout the day goes up to stupid amounts. Today i've been browsing the web, watching Youtube and using VLC. Task Manager says usage is 8.7gb. Why does it creep up throughout the day when those are the only applications i've been using? post-238373-0-91730100-1438979943_thumb.

Reboot your system, mines been pretty high since updating and a lot of other peoples have too.

Go on to the processes tab and click the memory column so it shows the highest RAM consumer, mine's usually "system" after a full day's use consuming between 600MB - 900MB. Not found out why yet though.

Firefox is the only one that uses excess memory. Everything else seems normal.post-238373-0-27181300-1438980703_thumb.

Yeah everything looks normal on there, just Firefox being a memory hog for some reason. Check your extensions/add ons make sure there's nothing there you haven't enabled yourself, or start disabling them one by one to see which one reduces the memory usage.

I disabled everything but it didn't even drop by 1%.

You'll most likely have to close and re-launch firefox before seeing any difference in usage.

I disabled everything I didn't need but only got a drop by 1%. The performance tab is still the same values.
