How often do you rebuild your pc!

So just curious and i know it will vary for a lot of you guys.

Was wondering how often you guys update your rig whether that is just a component or a full upgrade?

 

Also how often do you upgrade other  gadgets such as phones/tablets/laptops etc... 

 

For some reason it has been every few months for me lately..... Keep coming across parts....

I only update my GPU. Once my CPU starts to REALLY suck, I then go for a full upgrade. For example, I only updated to a GTX 970 because my HD 7950 stopped working. I'm still using my four year-old OC'd 2500k and I'm doing just fine. When this CPU goes to crap, I'll probably invest on an entirely new rig and SLI my 970.

Not necessarily new parts. (I wish I had the money for that xD)

 

Like a few months ago I found a second hard drive on ebay for like 5 bucks.

 

This month the power supply in my grandmother's old custom PC died and took everything with it. She trashed most of it, but gave me the hard drive and the case.

 

Stuff like this just keeps on happening.....

I tend to make my builds so I avoid buying new stuff all the time, but for peripherals and storage all the time.
