Intel Skylake vs. Haswell-E

I just read an article on some of the new things that Intel's Skylake processors will bring to the table, and how it's going to be notably faster than Haswell, but it didn't clarify on how much faster or if it were faster than the Haswell-E processors, and it made no mention of Skylake-E processors.

The Intel Core i7-5820K, a 6 core chip, is what's planned for my future build. The reason being is that I want to do video editing as well as some 3D rendering and a task like that does demand more cores, and the 5820K is a good bang for the buck (I think it is) processor. The Intel Core i7-6700K is a quad core processor with a 4.0GHz clock. Can anyone predict if it will be faster than the Haswell-E processor I want or even all of them?

I have no signature. There is nothing to see here. Move along.
