Old laptop question

Hey guys I have an Asus PRO72Q with a Pentium T3200 and 2 gigs of ram, should I install a 32 or 64 bit windows 7 ? Which would be better for the laptop,

it's for my little sister and she's probably going to play some casual games on it.

Definitely 32-Bit.

32 bit. 64 bit versions are only better if you have more than 4gb of ram, since they can recognize it.

 

With lower amounts of ram, its usually better to use the 32 bit version as they are more "conservative" with the ram? (based off previous experiences on a laptop with only 1gb of ram)

The thing is running XP right now, will it run games like sims 3 or others better with the 64 windows ? Otherwise of course 32 bit

The idea of doing a nice clean install of the OS will help you more than anything.  Also, having the more up to date version of Windows will help way more than the architecture switch.  The only benefit you will receive of x86 over x64 is that you'll save about 500MB of storage space, otherwise every single nod goes to x64,
