I don't think so. You may try if you wired it correctly, but normally it if the power check would go through it would stop on the power on check as the wire is missing.

i tried ti with an old junk pc i had laying around, and the computer booted fine, the server power supply has a ribbon cable that used to go to the motherboard, in the ribbon cable there is the pwr ok, -12, 5vsb, pwr on, ground, one of them should be 3.3v sense, but i cant tell how to find it, some of the wire are AC voltage.
