Hi,

I'm experiencing several issues with GTA V on PC.
Firstly, I'm noticing a lot of mouse lag in the menu when in game. Sometimes the mouse is unresponsive for a few seconds or it suddenly moves from one place to another.
What is the difference between Raw input, Direct input and Windows, and could changing these make a difference?
I also found an article which said it could be fixed by following this method:

The issue is caused by the speed of "repeat" key strokes on your keyboard. For a quick fix, you must DISABLE repeat keystrokes while in the game. Once this is done mouse moment is butter smooth.

Enter the Ease of access centre (this can be accessed through Accessories after clicking Start), then click 'Make the Keyboard Easier to use'

Click 'Set Filter Keys'.

Click 'Set up Filter Keys'.

Click 'Turn on Repeat Keys and Slow Keys',and then on 'Set up Repeat Keys and Slow Keys'. Select the option to ignore all repeated keystrokes, and reduce the time option at the top to 0.0 seconds.

Go back.

Ensure that 'Turn on Filter Keys' is ticked at the top and apply. GTA V now runs smoothly, when you're done, untick the box and apply.

Would following this method do anything? I'm also experiencing some stutter when moving with WASD and aiming with a mouse.

My specs:

4690K

8GB Corsair Vengeance

970

WD Black 1TB

AX760I

I don't like 2D games...I just couldn't get into them.. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

That began after the latest dlc update... It's a known problem but they don't seem to care to fix it.
