If your up for some modding it can be done, and it depends how you want to mount it. It's fairly simple to take the PCB off of the 5.25" sled and have a bare PCB where you can place somewhere hidden, just be sure not to short out the contacts on the PCB.

tbh you can ghetto mod it anywhere, velcro would be a nice addition too

Can i suggest against the NZXT Hue. Ive just had to bin mine. Its stopped working a few times, but taking it out and reconnecting everything always seemed to fix the issue. Not this time. It was dead. The adhesive on the strips is terrible too. I'm currently planning on buying the Bitfenix Alchemy 2.0 magnetic strips to become available. 

 

They look great while they last (see my avatar <~~ or my pictures) but it was very cheaply made and i've read a lot of similar issues across forums. Low quality control i think.
