I have a feeling this is gonna be one of the dumbest questions asked but my network card I recently purchased physically dont go in.

My mainboard:

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3855#ov

The card:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0000TO0BQ?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

Can someone explain me what went wrong and offer me some alternative around that price range?

that's really strange, unless you're trying to fit it in the white slot. are you lining up the first "nook" with the split in the slot (any of the light blue slots)?

edit: wait, why do you need another card? the board has one built in.

you bought a PCI card when you only have PCIe (PCI Express) slots

you need one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001OQSZQ0/ref=s9_simh_hd_bw_p147_d0_i2?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-2&pf_rd_r=1MVPXAM6SWKTGPFF4XV1&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=662984227&pf_rd_i=430513031

one part of the PCI thing is too big for my slots on the MB

and yes my MB has an ethernet port but I recently got this prob where my realtek controller been in "deep sleep mode". I tried everything and couldn't fix it, my only option is to maybe reinstall OS but I dont really want to. So I'm trying my luck with an additional Ethernet port.

Okay now that you mention it, I only have PCIe lanes. ._. guess I send this back then. Thx!
