How long is Windows 10 free for?

Go to solution Solved by ADZ_123_!"£,

Once you do the upgrade it is free forever and you have 1 year to complete the upgrade.

Hi all,

Firstly I apologize if there is already a topic on this, but due to hotel wifi being VERY slow, I can't search the forums easily.

Anyway, as stated in the title, my question is: How long is Windows 10 free for?

I ask this because I am currently on holiday (using my laptop) and am debating whether or not to get windows 10 for my main PC back home. I never reserved a free copy or anything, so I was wondering if someone could tell me if it would still be available to get when I'm back home. I arrive home on the 8th.

If it is still available (Which I assume it will be), is it worth upgrading? Should I upgrade my laptop now to test it out?

Thanks,

Daanish

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

Sorry,

I think you misunderstood my question, or I misunderstand your answer xD

What I meant was:

How long is Windows offering an upgrade from windows 7 to windows 10?

It seems you misunderstood my answer. The upgrade is offered within the first year after the release of Windows 10. I may have not been entirely clear in my original answer.
