Need A New Laptop

GeTecknics
Go to solution Solved by 2FA,

I doubt you want to carry around a 17 inch laptop. Have you looked at the UX305 by Asus?

So im going back to school for my final year *hopefully* and i've been using a macbook pro 13in for the past 4 ill still probably use it for something like papers and such since its not trash but i want something that i can take to class that doesnt get really loud and annoying whenever i open up Word and perferably something with a good battery as mine only lasts about 2hrs.

TLDR

Need new laptop

Want it quiet

price at/below $800 not much higher

doesnt have to game but would like it too

if it does game if it wasnt too loud that'd be great

nothing gamer like an all red MSI or ASUS ROG notebook keyboard leds are cool and would be a nice addition

i was already looking at thislaptop:  http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VRKV7I6/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_7?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

and this one:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00S44XB78/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_6?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

for price to performance though the MSI one looks better to me

its GE (pause) TechNicks

my rig plus everything i have bought for it http://pcpartpicker.com/p/30sNV

I doubt that you can game on any one of them.

The ASUS i would say it is designed for office users due to that it has a Quad core i7 w/ 8 threads

The MSI is aimed for general use, due to that it has a cheap graphics card that would run flash games.

i know its not a huge deal and im not too concerned with that something that can run games/anything better than this dual core i7 is good for me. My macbook runs the hell outta minecraft jk not really it crashes alot
