Power on/reset doesn't work?

Go to solution Solved by Oshino Shinobu,

how to short?

Bridge the two pins for the power button with something conductive. A key works for me.

I just got the maximus vii hero cuz upgrades. My power/reset button on my case worked when it was plugged into my old board. Now it doesn't and I plugged everything right. Any ideas?

Try shorting the Power Pins on the front panel connectors. If it doesn't work, there is something wrong with the board. If it does work, the front panel connectors are either connected wrong, or the buttons are broken.
