Need opinions

Hello I am new to this forum so if i posted this in the wrong area then please tell me.

I need help to figure out why my computer shuts down with the slightest overclock.

Specs:
Intel i5 3570k
Cooler master hyper 212 evo
Msi z77a gd45
8gb G-Skill 1600 ram
Powecolor HD 5780
Antect high current 520w 80plus bronze
Samsung 840 Evo 128GB
2 1tb seagate baracuda drive
Lg cd/dvd read writer
5 120mm fans
1 200mm fan

So when I turn oc genie on or use custom oc settings the computer wont load the operating system and cant read the boot drive. If os loads the computer shuts down after a while.

So when I turn oc genie on or use custom oc settings the computer wont load the operating system and cant read the boot drive. If os loads the computer shuts down after a while.

maybe you have a horrible chip for overclocks and it needs more voltage ?

Can it get solved with a better psu? The chip workes with oc genie when the computer runs without the graphics card

wait so if you unplug your gpu the pc boots but when you have it plugged in it crashes ?

Yup when using on board it works fine. Im assuming looking at the tomshardware graph that my psu is too little?

I built the system june of 2012 when ivy bridge first launched so around 3 years. The gpu I had if for around 5 years?

and you just started having this problem ?

i didnt want to overlock the system at first then i felt the urge to overclock the system so i tried and found out this problem. 

so did you how much did you oc ur cpu and did you oc ur gpu ?

i went a like 0.5 volts oc? and a bit on the multplier like 1-3. i did not oc the gpu 

try stock voltage ?
