Extensions will not work. They "extend" the length original cables. Without the 24 pin, there's nothing to extend.

 

Concerning the point that if you are able to compare the modular interface with other power supplies someone else had made. This will likely not work either. The modular interface on the PSU side are standardized within their own product line and will likely be different from other units from another brand. Even different series from their own product line can be different. Not to mentioned, even if by some chance that you are able to find something that look identical by looks (to the point that you are even able to plugged it in), there is not guarantee the pin-out are the same, in which you are just setting yourself up shorting and burning out the new cables.

 

Also, if you manage to get a proper replacement, I would recommend all of the cable that you had sleeved with a digital multimeter.

Thanks. I only did the 20+4pin and half way through i noticed "This looks like crap" and i gave up.
