Hard drive not being detected

I just built my computer And ran windows 8.1 in my ssd but when I got to my folders my 1tb Hardrive doesn't show up only my ssd

Open Windows Disk Management find your drive in the list, right click on where it says disk 0, disk 1, etc.. and choose initialize. You may need to restart after to see your folders. Be careful not to format, delete, or create anything.
