My laptop (which I game on, yes I know....old build went poop) keeps on blue screening randomly, probably around once every 2 weeks.

Any ideas on why this keeps on happening? Unfortunately, my warranty ran out recently :(

Most of he bluescreens are issues with drivers, but you need to view the dumpfile to know.

Try to upgrade all drivers and /or unplug all devices and see if it helps.

also have a look at temp then gaming, if its a old computer the heatsinks can be full of dust.

A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing

Follow the instructions in this thread to upload  your BSOD dump files for further analysis, and could we please have some more specs.

Upload the dump files from C:\Windows\Minidump in a compressed archive (.zip etc) to the forum using the "Attach Files" button under the editor. This allows us to read the error messages and diagnose the problem effectively and quickly.

Also, what are you doing when the bsod's occur, is there a pattern? for example does it always happen when you are gaming or doing something esle that may be taxing to your hardware. and yeah, the dump file or bsod name would help us to determine the problem :)
