Windows 10 no surround sound

So i've got this problem only in the Netflix app in Windows 10. The surround sound doesn't work I'm only getting a stereo signal on my receiver. I've got this since i upgraded to Windows 10 in Windows 8.1 it worked perfectly fine. Has anyone else got the same problem? I also reinstalled all the drivers for sound but the problem is till there. My computer is connected via SPDIF .

The drivers probably aren't compatible, you might have to wait for a proper W10 driver.

are you sure before it was 5.1 or just fill?

make sure 5.1 is set

and maybe netflix app doesn't support yet? try testing it with other things.

I tested it with The walking dead because i know that was in 5.1 and it said that on the display of my receiver. I've watched all of it when I had windows 7. Not anymore.

I think QueenDemetria is right. And the problem is only in the Netflix app not with movies I have on my computer.

maybe the movie or show you are trying doesn't support surround sound.

So people I contacted Netflix andere they checked if was getting a surround signal tot my computer and everything was setup correctly so there Engineers will look at this problemen.
