Hey Friends!

I have been having an idea to build a mineral oil pc, just for giggles...  I would use some old computer parts I have lying around.

I don't have any money right now to put into it because I have been upgrading my main rig.  But I would love to see someone build one.

If you are going to build one, or have built one, I would love to see it.

Maybe I would use some old broken motherboards that I have and just mount them to a tank and submerge them in water just as an ornament?  I'm just thinking on what to do with my old useless spare parts...

Great for dissipating heat but the pcparts used aren't going into any second build haha.

So... If Jesus had the gold, would he buy himself out instead of waiting 3 days for the respawn?

There are a lot of issues with it, as far as part swapping etc. I would build a cool water cooled rig in a custom built case.

Black Friday 2013 Build: i7 4770k, Gigabyte Z87X UD5H, 16gb Corsair, Msi R9 290, Corsair Axi 760, Corsair 750D, 2x intel 530 240gb ssd, 2x Seagate 400gb

Older Machine amd x640, msi 760g mobo, 8gb gskillz, Sapphire 6870, Corsair hx650, Cooler master haf 922, ocz agility 3 120gb ssd || HTPC: i7 3770k, shuttle xpc z77, 16gb gskillz, Asus GTX 650 ti, intel 120gb msata ssd

You can re-use the parts but you have to wait like 2-3 weeks for the mineral oil to dry before you can use the parts again.
