Please vote for split screen on win 10 minecraft.

This...thank you, someone else who actually see a feature that can in no way hurt the experience lol.

That, and local multiplayer is pretty much the one thing consoles are still objectively better at providing, and yet there's no real reason for that to be the case. A PC can go in a living room, a PC can have any number of gamepads attached to it, but the games arbitrarily have no local multiplayer support.

Modding works in some cases, and not in others. A casual gamer wanting to play with their friends shouldn't have to bother with that.

@roshy Ok look, there are three versions of minecraft, the java version (original) Pocket edition (mobile) windows 10 edition (based off pocket edition)

The windows 10 and mobile pocket edition are based off of the same version but are the same.

windows 10 users will have cross play with mobile users.

windows 10 will receive exclusive pc features whilst still being able to play with mobile users.

There are two different versions in the store, the mobile version and the windows 10 version. I'm not asking for a feature in the mobile version but rather the windows 10 version.

-snip-

PC Version will eventually come around with a mod. If it doesn't then mojang just killed their game. Perhaps wait till mod support or go back to java version. :| sorry man nothing else to say

Totally agree.

As a previous console gamer it saddens me to see so few local co op games on pc.

Frankly it's just lazy on the dev part. Especially if console gets the same game with the feature.

Rocket league is a gem. 4 player split screen and you can even go online with it, whilst in split screen mode and play cross platform. all this with one steam account and no mods.

To me it's a must have yes.

The mod for the java version lets you play with mouse and keyboard and controllers at the same time, as does rocket league. That's not an issue really.

It's a must have to me as I don't have two computers to play with someone else in the house.

Local and online are doing a good job? Well not in the win 10 edition there not. as far as i know online feature is absent.

And even if it was there, why would it be doing a good job be a reason not to add split screen? unless you want the game to be limited.

The only reason why someone wouldn't want this is if they game alone, have no real life friends or family. I'm not saying you fall in to any of those categories or trying to disrespect you in any way, but rather pointing something out.

I honestly hate minecraft windows 10 edition for just one reason, NO FUCKING FOV SLIDER. If that is implemented later, it might be decent. Until then, normal minecraft is far superior. Plus, why would you want to use a controller for minecraft on PC?

Who said I would be using a contoller?

The kids and the Mrs would be using the controllers, yeno, the ones who are just coming to play and have a laugh and aren't elitists?

If we where talking about using a controller with cs-go then that's another story, but seriously, it's minecraft, not a major competitive fps game.
