Building my PC

Go to solution Solved by grayblizzard,

Good day to ya all.

So, since my old rig just broke, I would like to take that as a sign to build me a new one.

This is where you guys come in ...

Would you mind checking if there are any bottelnecks etc. in this setup ?

I looked it through myself like 10 times, but since I am not that well suited with knowledge in this kind of environment, I would really appreciate your help.

You may want to change the .de to the domain of your country, but for the link I didnt do it because I am not quiet sure if it would work then.

So, many thanks in beforehand,

SomeKiddie

just colormatch the build and you will be good i think

Save yourself some cash and go with an i5, if the system is for gaming/ light productivity. also the motherboard should come with sata cables...

It does, but in tjis version there are only 2 included, wich is not enough to use one HDD, an SSD and drive for CDs

Ahh, my bad...

Happens, dont sweat it.

Also, i would like this rig to be at least semi-future proof and I might also do some rendering/modelling stuff, so I assumed the i7 would be the better choice.

In that case go for it... I too was not sure what I would use my pc other than gaming, so I kept my options open by getting an i7.

In cases where people could nearly afford a much better gpu, then it would be better to cut down the cpu, and get a better gpu, but since you already have the top of the line, it should be fine.

Nearly exactly my thoughts.

But I am not quite sure if you mean the GPU is top off the line (wich in my opinion it isnt, but man, I dont have that much money :3)

Also, I habe one more question.

I really tried ro keep the PC as quiet as possible.

I do know you cannot give me any real values, but judging by your knowledge alone, will this thing go loud ?

You could get the 980 ti, or fury x, but I think thats a larger amount of money than you would get from going down to an i5...
